NAME

picl_get_root - get the root handle of the PICL tree

SYNOPSIS

cc [ flag... ] file... -lpicl [ library... ]

int picl_get_root(picl_nodehdl_t *nodehandle);

DESCRIPTION

The picl_get_root() function gets the handle of the root node of the
PICL tree and copies it into the location given by nodehandle.

RETURN VALUES

Upon successful completion, 0 is returned. On failure, a non-negative
integer is returned to indicate an error.

PICL_NORESPONSE
Daemon not responding


PICL_FAILURE
General system failure
