sip_hold_trans, sip_release_trans - hold or release reference on a
transaction

sip_transaction_t sip_trans);
DESCRIPTION
The
sip_hold_trans() function is used to hold a reference on the
transaction
sip_trans. A transaction is not freed if there are any
references on it.
The
sip_release_trans() function is used to release a reference on
the transaction
sip_trans. If the reference falls to
0 and the
transaction is in a terminated state, the transaction is freed.
RETURN VALUES
The value of
errno is not changed by these calls in the event of an
error.
