VW_PRINTW(3XCURSES) X/Open Curses Library Functions VW_PRINTW(3XCURSES)
vw_printw - print formatted output in window
cc [ flag... ] file... -I /usr/xpg4/include -L /usr/xpg4/lib \
-R /usr/xpg4/lib -lcurses [ library... ]
c89 [ flag... ] file... -lcurses [ library... ]
#include <stdarg.h>
#include <curses.h>
int vw_printw(WINDOW *win, char *fmt, va_list varglist);
fmt
Is a printf() format string.
varglist
Is a pointer to a list of parameters.
win
Is a pointer to the window in which the string is to be
written.
The vw_printw() function achieves the same effect as
wprintw(3XCURSES) using a variable argument list. The third argument
is a va_list, as defined in <stdarg.h>.
Upon successful completion, vw_printw() returns OK. Otherwise, it
returns ERR.
No errors are defined.
The vw_printw() function is preferred over vwprintw(3XCURSES). The
use of the vwprintw() and vw_printw() in the same file will not work,
due to the requirements to include <varargs.h> and <stdarg.h>, which
both contain definitions of va_list.
