NAME

iwn - Intel(R) WiFi Link 4965 and 100/1000/2000/5000/6000 Series Driver

DESCRIPTION

The iwn 802.11a/g/n wireless NIC driver is a multi-threaded, loadable,
clonable, GLDv3-based STREAMS driver supporting the Intel Wifi Link
4965, 100, 1000, 2000, 5000, and 6000 series of NIC's. Driver
functions include controller initialization, wireless 802.11
infrastructure network connection, WEP and frame transmit and receive.

CONFIGURATION

The iwn driver performs auto-negotiation to determine the data rate and
mode Supported data rates are 1, 2, 5.5, and 11 Mbit/sec for 802.11b
and 802.11g, as well as 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 54 Mbit/sec for
802.11a and 802.11g.
